Very secure. Seems to be good neighborhood. Very unique. The lobby looks like a small library. The receptionists were very freindly! They seem to take pride in getting acquainted with the occupants. The room was very nice. They do not have refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. But they are available at no extra charge. The bed was very comfortable which was nice since I had just been released from the hospital. If given the opportunity, I would stay there again. I can understand how they have gotten their 9.0 rating!
Very clean hotel, beautiful view extraordinary comfortable bed and pillows so clean the receptionist are really helpful fun and also the happy beds are clean. Bathroom is clean. View is very nice. I recommend it to everybody and also I didn’t expect such a nice hotel in Chicago. This is my first time in Chicago I like the hotel so much
What a wonderful stay! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, especially from the front desk staff working the morning shift on 7/21/25. They were so kind and welcoming, and truly set the tone for my visit. I stayed for four nights and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but this experience far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is just inviting. After coming from a disappointing stay elsewhere the night before, this was a breath of fresh air. I also really appreciated the staff accommodating my needs by bringing up a fridge and microwave. Such a thoughtful touch. Five stars. I’d absolutely stay here again!
The staff -- front desk, restaurant, housekeeping -- is superb. They are very warm and professional. They greet you as if you are an honored guest. The rooms are large and very well appointed. The lobby is generous and well equipped for working in public. We had three very good meals in the restaurant on site. Metra Trains are within easy walking distance and being on the U of Chicago campus is breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast at the restaurant was quick, fresh, and served piping hot. We also appreciated the added layer of security, as room access required scanning a key card in the elevator. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we'd gladly return.
